Partner visas

Partner visas are our core practice

A partner visa depends on showing the Department a genuine and continuing relationship, supported by strong evidence. We prepare each application carefully for married couples, de facto partners and fiancé(e)s, in Australia or overseas.

Before you book

Do I need a migration agent to apply for a visa?

No. Anyone may apply for themselves. A registered agent helps you choose the right visa, present your evidence properly and avoid mistakes that lead to refusal or delay. In Australia only registered migration agents and Australian legal practitioners may give immigration assistance for a fee.

How much does a consultation cost?

Our fee depends on the type of matter. We tell you the consultation fee when you book, and you receive a written agreement setting out all fees before any application work begins.

I've received a refusal or a letter from the Department. What should I do?

Read the letter for the deadline and contact us the same day. Review applications and responses to requests for information often have short, strict time limits. Bring the full letter and your application documents to the consultation.

Can you help if I'm outside Australia?

Yes. Consultations can be held by phone or video, and most applications are lodged online through ImmiAccount.

What should I bring to a consultation?

Your passport, current visa details, any letters from the Department or the Tribunal, and documents about your situation such as relationship, work, study or identity records. See the checklist.
