How we help
Every matter starts with an honest assessment of your circumstances against the current criteria, so you know your real options before you spend money on an application.
We check that the business can sponsor and that the occupation, salary and role meet the current criteria.
We prepare the Standard Business Sponsorship application, or confirm an existing approval is still valid.
We prepare the nomination, including market salary evidence and labour market testing where required.
The worker's visa application is lodged with skills, English, health and character evidence.
We advise on sponsor obligations after grant and plan the pathway to permanent residence.
Sponsorship
Most employer visas follow three applications: sponsorship, nomination and visa.

Agreements negotiated with the Australian Government where standard visa settings don't meet a business's needs, including Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs) for regions.
Temporary
Lets an approved sponsor employ a skilled worker for up to four years. Replaced the Temporary Skill Shortage visa in December 2024.
A five-year visa for workers sponsored by an employer in designated regional Australia, leading to the 191 permanent visa.
Skills in Demand in detail
Permanent

Training & short stay
For occupational training or professional development with an approved sponsor.
For short-term, highly specialised, non-ongoing work, usually up to three months.
For specific activities such as entertainment, sport, research, religious work and events. See visitor & temporary visas.
For employers
We map which roles can be sponsored, the right stream and the salary each needs, before you make an offer.
We explain your obligations and help you keep records that will stand up to Department monitoring.
We plan the move from a temporary visa to the 186 so you keep your best people.

Questions
For most nominations, yes. Labour market testing means advertising the position in Australia in a set way before nominating an overseas worker. Some exemptions apply.
At least the market salary rate for the role, and at least the income threshold that applies to the stream. Thresholds are indexed, usually each 1 July.
Yes, but the new employer must lodge a new nomination. If employment ends, the visa holder generally has a limited period to find a new sponsor, apply for another visa or leave Australia.
Sponsors must pay the nominated salary, keep records, notify the Department of certain changes and cooperate with monitoring. Breaches can lead to penalties or a sponsorship bar.
