  1. Choose the right visa

We check your passport, purpose and plans and recommend the visa that fits, such as a Visitor visa (600) or ETA (601).

  2. Evidence of a genuine visit

We prepare evidence of your purpose, funds and ties to home, which the Department weighs closely.

  3. Application and lodgement

We lodge a complete application, including invitations or sponsorship where relevant.

  4. Conditions

We explain your visa conditions, including any No Further Stay condition, before you travel.

  5. Extensions and next steps

If your plans change, we advise on extending your stay or moving to another visa.
